Slow Food Forum is a collection of nine Dick Halligan originals and three jazz standards played by one of the worlds best and most innovative jazz pianist/composer/arranger along with a group of outstanding Italian musicians. Slow Food Forum is a colmination of the career and multiple locations the artist has lived and now lives in. The tracks on the CD offer various combinations of these musicians. All players are given a chance to showcase their individual voices through solos, counter melodies and interplay. Another bright light on the CD are the vocals of Shana Halligan. A song writer and singer in her own right, she is the driving force of the electronica group Bitter:Sweet .
